Giorgio Franci is among the most talented and passionate olive oil producers we’ve ever met. His understanding of olive oil, from the farming of trees to the milling of olives, is incredible. The first time tasting his olive oil was at the end of a four day tour, after having tasted hundreds of oils. The moment we tasted Franci's oils it was clear that they were something special, something inspiring! The combination of balance, freshness and intensity of flavor was incredible to experience. His mill is located on the slopes of Mt. Amiata, just a few kilometers south of Brunello di Montalcino. Giorgio’s mill is in a loca­tion so beautiful it seems its sole purpose is to create incredible olive oil. See more

These are the most highly awarded olive oils in our collection and are famous not just in Italy, but France, Germany, Switzerland, North America and Asia. Founded in 1958, Franci has become a cult producer of olive oil, with a following around the world. In 1995, Giorgio joined his father and uncle and has taken the estate to new heights and we are very honored to work with him.

100% Olivastra Seggianese from 100 to 130 year-old trees grown at high altitude (400-700 meters). The oil is straw colored. These olives are hand harvested in October. Villa Magra Gran Cru is a quality benchmark of Italian olive oil production. 100% Frantoio olives. A top selection of the Villa Magra fruit from the Chiusello sub parcel, the oldest trees. Mt. Amiata is just off the southwest, the micro-climate produces a cooler zone where ripening is slow and concentration of phenolic compounds are high. See more
