Fortulla Biologico 2020 is an organic Tuscan Extra-Virgin olive oil from the Castiglioncello, on the Tuscan coast. Made with a blend of Leccino, Moraiolo, Frantoio, and Maurino olives, this oil has a medium fruity quality with notes of cut grass and olive leaves. The color is golden yellow with a green tinge. It has a slightly bitter and medium spicy taste, an aftertaste of artichokes, and a long persistence on the palate. Some suggested food pairing would be salads, raw and cooked vegetables, pasta with delicate and simple sauces, all white meats and fish.
